Rolling Stones Tribute Bands: The Stones

Rolling Stones tribute band (The Stones) bring to the stage all the energy and excitement of a live Rolling Stones concert. This is not a tongue in cheek approach but a serious tribute to one of the biggest rock bands of all time.

The band performed at the ‘Rolling Stones Festival’ in 2007, this first performance was extraordinary for several reasons, the power of the songs, the way that Ben slipped into the Mick Jagger role as if he had been born into it, and the way the band immediately grasped the loose but tight feel of The Rolling Stones music. The band decided that this was the way forward, they will embark on their first theatre tour next year.

The Stones are available for all kinds of work including hotels, holiday camps, private parties, conferences, festivals, theatres, etc

Reviews:
“This is not just a great tribute band, this is a great band” – Rudi (Rudi’s Rock and Blues Cafe)

Fab!! Saw them last night (13 June) in Cheltenham. My wife is bonkers about the group after their performance” – Mick Campbell

“I also saw them in Cheltenham (13 June) and thought they were brilliant. Have already recommended them to friends if/when they return to Cheltenham” – Hazel Midwinter

“Just seen these tonight at Customs House, South Shields, what a great act. The performance has to be seen to be believed, would not surprise me if this tribute band generates another tribute band to them in 45 years time!” – Arthur Richardson

“Saw this band at South Shields, absolutely fantastic! Very talented perfomers, great entertainers and a show that I will never forget” – Elaine Buckmaster

“Saw them last night at the Customs House, South Shields. They were fantastic. Nothing short of brilliant. An excellent night out for any Stones fan. If you want a trip back to the early earthy bluesy rock of the sixties and seventies then you must see The Stones. If you’ve never seen the real thing then you must see this band and if you have seen the real thing – relive those magical moments again. Visually and musically these guys aren’t to be missed” – John Johnstone

“I can only agree with what has been said by others on here about The Stones, (I was going to say tribute band but unwarranted, I can remember back to the 60’s and this band is on par if not BETTER than the originals. They say history repeats itself, it has in this instance, these are professional performers and a credit to the musical world. My only critical point is that the next tme they come here, us oldies may be displaced by younger fans who will realise what they are missing! I just feel very privileged that I have been able to see such a talented band. These lads even presented themselves in the foyer minutes after a great performance, it was great to see such professional people, Mick Jagger could probably pick up a few pointers from these lads!”

“Four of my friends attended The Civic Theatre last night and have not stopped raving about the show since” – Wesley Thompson

“One of the best acts that have ever appeared in The Civic Theatre since it opened 10 years ago, you just have to bring them back again” – Lighting engineer (The Civic Theatre)

“I am a big fan of The Rolling Stones for the last forty years and at first was wary about coming to the show. After five minutes, I was speechless that The Stones could be as good if not better than the real thing, absolutely brilliant. Their recreation of The Rolling Stones was more like a reincarnation, can’t wait for the next show” – Gerry Wade

“I saw them last night at Malvern and they were excellent. Loud and packed with raw energy, best tribute band I have ever seen, definitely want to see them again” – Alison

“What a great night, the re-opening of the Whitley Bay Playhouse with a band second to none, the venue was just right and the band were a class act. All six members had the time (after a brilliant performance) to meet the audience, total commitment, dedicated professionals! I will be part of the audience whenever in this area. These lads are a treat to be in the company of, they know what to give and they give it. History repeating itself but only better, by a lot” – Albie Dunn
