Steven Wicketts is the UK's No.1 Jerry Lee Lewis tribute act. From the moment he walks on stage you will know that this is no ordinary tribute performer. Steve’s fingers are a blur, moving almost faster than the eye can see, playing up to 12 notes per second. The response to the show has been quite extraordinary. Steve has been approached by top promoters in Las Vegas, West End theatre production companies and three of the most successful Rock 'n' Roll tribute shows touring throughout Europe.

One of Steve's dreams was to record at Sun Studio in Memphis where Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis first ever recorded. He couldn't believe it when they asked him to sign an agreement giving them permission to use his recordings in future promotions. He was so impressed with the recording technology at Sun Studio that he now uses the same system to record and produce his own backing tracks. There are no pre-recorded vocals or piano on these backing tracks, it is all performed totally live. This show is lots of fun and by the end it you will understand why Jerry Lee Lewis really did believe that he should have been crowned the King of Rock 'n' Roll.

Songs Include:
Great Balls of Fire (with extra piano solo's)
Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On
Breathless (in the middle of the song, you will see Steve perform an amazing 12 note piano solo)
Green Green Grass of Home (3mins of pure showing off in a JLL style)
Wild One (Steve cleverly turns this song into Classical then back to Rock ‘N’ Roll)
Chantilly Lace
Save the Last dance For Me (a Drifters classic performed with trademark Jerry Lee Lewis gusto)
Be Bop-a-Lula
Lewis Boogie (Steve plays the piano solo that Jerry Lee Lewis captured on record at Sun Studio. This is the most difficult solo of them all, even the great man himself rarely performed this original solo)

The Piggies are recognised as one of the best 60's tribute bands in the UK today. They've performed at many high profile venues over the years including The Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Sporting Club Monte Carlo, Liverpool Empire Theatre and Stockholm Konserthaus.

Their attention to detail is extraordinary even down to vintage instrumentation and costumes of the era. Artistes featured include: The Beatles, The Monkees, The Searchers, Cliff Richard & The Shadows, The Rolling Stones plus many more.

Clients:
BBC Television, BBC Radio, Swedish National Television including appearing live on the Swedish Lotto with Roger Moore in front of an estimated audience of 5 million people.

Butlin's Holiday Resorts
Haven Holidays
Gala Bingo Clubs
Hilton Hotels
Newmarket Racecourse
British Aerospace
Silja Castle

The Piggies are able to adapt their show to suit most types of audiences, from a full-scale theatre production to an intimate private party. This sixties tribute band are thoroughly entertaining and if you like the 60's era, you will absolutely love this highly polished tribute act.

Reviews:
"From the moment that these four talented musicians stepped out of a full-scale replica of Dr. Who's Tardis, complete with original sound effects, it was clear that this was no ordinary tribute band. Using the word "Ultimate" for any event of this kind may seem risky, but this show certainly delivers the goods – their uncanny impersonations of 1960's icons such as The Beatles, The Monkees, The Searchers, Gerry and the Pacemakers and The Rolling Stones were nothing short of perfect" – Grand Theatre (Swansea)

"They are a cover band, but a cover band who really become the artistes they are impersonating. Only the most wonderful classic songs were performed during the almost two and a half hour concert. The last half hour of the show the audience were all stood up dancing, screaming, clapping their hands and singing along to the songs. The evening was full of nostalgia and the audience got to re-live many precious old memories" – Park Theatre Orebro (Sweden)

"This was a really excellent show – a slick and impressive production with almost 50 of the best hits of the last century and all played live by four terrific musicians, playing a hometown gig at the peak of their talents" – Grimsby Auditorium

"The great thing about this show though is not just the talent of the performers but the humour that goes with it. They didn’t take themselves too seriously and told us that, just like in the sixties, all instruments on the night were played live. They effortlessly moved from one anthem to another and the costumes they donned were just the thing to add that extra bit of pizzazz. Without a doubt though, the best performance and costume had to come from their version of Mick Jagger. Not only did he have the voice for it, he had the lips and moves as well" – Wyvern Theatre (Swindon)

Yanni (Guitar/Vocals) is both proud and passionate about The Merseybeat sound. He was born in Liverpool in 1950 and first played at the Cavern Club in 1964 with his band ‘The Seftons’. They went on to be very successful and recorded many singles and were very proud to be top of the bill when the Cavern re-opened in 1967. In 1997, a commemorative wall of fame was unveiled opposite The Cavern and ‘The Seftons’ have their own brick in the wall alongside the names of all the bands that performed at the club. In 1972, Yanni found further success when he wrote and sang the theme tune to the long running TV show ‘Candid Camera’. Yanni has a wealth of experience spanning more than 40 years and contributes a genuine, reminiscent quality to the sound of The Cavern Legacy show.

Allen (Bass/Vocals) has enjoyed playing guitar at venues in the UK and abroad, supporting ‘The Wurzels’, ‘The Searchers’ and ‘The Fortunes’ to name but a few. He especially enjoyed performing at Butlin's 60's theme weekends and loves working on cruise ships. Allen began playing guitar when he was eleven years old, reaching an accomplished level of ability, evident when he made the seamless switch from guitar to bass guitar when he joined the band. He says not many bass players like the Hofner bass but he wouldn’t want to play anything else. Allen has an impressive, creative talent and uses this to reproduce the authentic sixties sound for the band.

Dave (Drums) started playing drums at 15 going to the same tutor as Mick Avery of ‘The Kinks’. In the 60's he formed a band called 'The Zodiacs' playing venues all over the country even performing on the Hit TV show ‘Ready Steady Go’ and they supported numerous bands including ‘Cliff Bennet and the Rebel Rousers’. In 1967, the band split with one member going to Australia and one to Canada. Dave stayed in the UK and was approached by Ray Dorset who was forming ‘Mungo Jerry’ but Dave had taken another job. He was really upset when they later had their big hit: ‘In the Summertime’. Dave just says “that’s life” and he is now happy to be back playing in The Cavern Legacy.

Keith (Guitar/Vocals) grew up on a diet of 60's Mersey and Brum Beat music and counts John Lennon as his single biggest musical influence. In the 60's and 70's Keith learned his musical trade singing and playing guitar in a number of covers bands including: 'Rum & Butter' and 'Cartoon' playing the clubs and army bases around the country. During this period 'Rum Butter' played a residency with Billy Fury and played support to a number of artists such as: 'Black Sabbath’, 'The Troggs', 'Tony Christie' and 'McGuinness Flint'.

The band constantly update their repertoire, the following list is intended as a guide only.
