Although the band have their roots firmly embedded in the flamboyant seventies glam rock era as is evidenced by their colourful stage costumes, they can also perform a complete 70's pop disco set with music from Boney M, The Bee Gees, Grease, K.C. and The Sunshine Band, Cockney Rebel, Mud, The Osmonds and The Rubettes.

The standard of musicianship is quite simply breathtaking, enabling the band to perform their celebrated trademark version of Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody', in its entirety, totally live!

Ballroom Glitz are also very much in demand on the festival and theatre circuit, having supported many of the icons of the 70's including: Suzi Quatro, Showaddywaddy, The Rubettes, Boney M, Sweet, Mud and Slade.

The band started out in 1993 playing village halls and private parties, steadily increasing their popularity through appearances at various night clubs, festivals and even an appearance on Cable TV, until the present day where they are now a major attraction at some of the best venues in the UK.

Always putting on an authentic live show, all members of the band dress in seventies style make-up and clothes and rock their way through a wide selection of songs from bands like: T.Rex, The Sweet, Slade and many others, even The Bay City Rollers!
