Madness tribute act (Ultimate Madness 2) are a spin off of the original band. Jason Moore accurately portrays Suggs, paying particular attention to the vocal tone, phrasing and mannerisms of the man himself. Jason Reynolds takes the role of Thommo, brilliantly delivering those raspy saxophone riffs that are essential for that nutty sound. This crazy, fun packed show comes at you at a blistering pace with audience participation throughout. All of your favourite Madness tracks are included with a number of Ska and 2-Tone classics thrown in for good measure.

One Step Behind are an outstanding Madness tribute band. They performed at the Proms Party in Hyde Park (London) in front of 50,000 people and a television viewing audience of millions. The band perform all over Europe including the famous Marquee Club in London.
One Step Behind have been on television several times, the frontman performed on “Stars In Their Eyes” back in the 90’s and the whole band has appeared on SMTV with Ant & Dec performing their unique version of “Driving In My Car”.
When the band played at G-MEX in Manchester Suggs himself walked up to the microphone and said “By the way, we’re MADNESS not One Step Behind!”. The Melody Maker wrote a positive review about the band shortly after this performance.
It’s clear to see that each member of the band lives and breathes the music and mayhem of Madness and have spent many hours perfecting the look and mannerisms of their zany hero’s. Complete Madness are one of the best Madness tribute bands in the UK today. They were formed in 1992 from a band called ‘Beat The System’ who originally performed cover versions of The Clash, U2 and other New Wave bands.
In 1992 ‘Beat The System’ started to play a few Madness tracks in their show and immediately knew, from the enthusiastic reaction of audiences everywhere that this was going to be the way forward. In 1993 the band changed their name to ‘Complete Madness’ – they have never looked back since.
They conquered the club scene in the early days and have since done hundreds of corporate events throughout the UK and Europe including major holiday parks. They can frequently been seen at Butlins Holiday Resorts where they have been performing for more than 10 years.
In the last few years the band have moved into a totally different market, performing a unique theatre show telling the complete story of Madness. The show is now set to enter it’s 4th successful year.
