Meatloaf tribute act (Pure Meatloaf) was in the live grand final of ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ in 2004. He has a powerhouse of a voice which you’d obviously need to mimic this larger than life performer. Since his television appearance, Andy has continued to be one of the most popular Meatloaf tribute acts in the UK.
Andy is a huge Meatloaf fan and has put a lot of thought and effort into making his tribute to this rock legend as authentic as possible. Every song is delivered with the same incredible passion and feeling as the original.
All the classic tracks are performed in this phenomenal show including “Dead Ringer For Love”, “Anything For Love”, “You Took The Words Right Out of My Mouth” to the powerful ballads of “Heaven Can Wait”, “For Crying Out Loud” and “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad”. The show ends with the explosive “Bat Out of Hell”.
“I have been trying to put my finger on what makes Andy (Pure Meatloaf) and Julie stand out in my eyes. I think that it’s not only that they both have fab voices, it’s something else, their complete and open friendliness. They don’t blow their own trumpets cos they dont need to. They are professional but not unreachable. They don’t brag about themselves and both have a willingness to listen and strive for perfection” – Christa (Meat Loaf UK Fan Club)
“Pure Meatloaf provided the best New Years Eve The Old Swinford has ever had” – Ann-Marie (Manager)
“Pure Meatloaf must be one of the best in his branch of the tribute trade, with the voice and the build of the original” – Peter Hepple (The Stage Showcall Showcase)
“A very sincere impression” – Mark Ritchie (The Stage Newspaper)
“I have to say that although I’m not a student of rock music Andy was first class and just like the real thing” – Ian Briggs
“as regulars in The Park Hotel in Sheffield we have a great crowd and lots of fun nights but this was a fantastic evening, everyone agrees this was one of the best nights in The Park since football 2006 thanks to Andy (Pure Meatloaf), he is fantastic and from a Meatloaf fan who hates tribute bands that’s a complement! been told you’re coming back, can’t wait, book your seat early guys!” – Kat (Shefffield)
“Just wanted to say a very big thank you to Andy and Julie Pryke (Pure Meatloaf). The evening was a great success, my colleagues have been thanking me all day for arranging the social event and without exception they want a repeat performance. So I feel it’s only fair to pass on the praise to where its really deserved. Andy put his heart and soul into his performance and proved to be an all round entertainer, I have no hesitation in recommending him. Thanks also for the efficient way in which you handled the booking” – Sue Clarke (Leicestershire)
“Just to let you know that we enjoyed Andy and Julie so much last night. He has an amazing voice, just like the real person and the duets were fantastic. Everyone loved him and his interaction with the audience was really good”
“I just want to say what an AWESOME night we had here with the completely FANTASTIC, (PURE MEATLOAF) and Julie last night. They were both really great, professional, talented and gave the audience a night that they will truly remember for a long time to come. I have been inundated with texts last night and this morning, people were quite simply astonished at what a great performance and performer(s) they had seen at the Tower House. That is exactly what I want for this fantastic business and I know that when they go back to work and speak to friends they will say so accordingly which is the only publicity that really matters “word of mouth”. I want to say to you both that it has been a real pleasure working with you and look very much with anticipation to the next events” – Robert Oddy (Tower House Hotel)
“This is the 3rd time I’ve seen Pure Meatloaf but the second time at Woodland Waters in Lincolnshire. Both Andy and Julie are a class act and always seem to have a good reception with us. Andy is great, a true artist and is well worth seeing. Hopefully see you again next year and thank you very much for such an enjoyable evening” – Pete and Lisa Lawler
“Seen Andy as Meatloaf at Whitemede on 22 November, what a great night, his voice is fantastic, the best tribute act ever, well worth seeing” – Ann Cindewrey
