He then left the studio, without recording them, and said "What exactly do you need me for boys"? It was then that Steve made the inspired decision to become the UK's No.1 tribute to his boyhood idol. He has the looks and that instantly recognizable voice, what more could you possibly want?

Tom Jones Tribute Acts: Martin Jarvis

Martin Jarvis is an outstanding Tom Jones tribute artiste and is recognised as such throughout the UK & Europe. He was even asked to perform for Virgin to promote one of Tom's albums.

Martin's powerhouse of a voice has always been compared to Tom Jones. I suppose it was inevitable that he would end up performing as a Tom Jones impersonator.

Martin's career in the music industry started by him playing guitar and singing in a band supporting the likes of The Who and The Small Faces. He then moved into the recording industry by emulating various artists in the charts for Pickwick and Contour record labels.

After moving into the cabaret circuit as a solo artiste, he travelled the world performing his show to audiences in clubs, theatres, cruise liners and performed in Las Vegas alongside Anthony Newley.

Since the huge success of the “Reload” album and the “Brit Awards”, Tom Jones has gained a new set of fans and Martin has incorporated these new songs in with the old time favourites.

Martin has also appeared alongside Tom Jones on a video shoot for a T.V. commercial of one his single releases.

After Tom performed at Party In The Park in his hometown of Pontypridd, Martin was booked to do Party In The Park 2 the following year to an enthusiastic crowd on the same stage.
