As a favour to a friend, Mark became a backing singer, which he did for about 2 years. The band ‘One More Story’ released their own independent album and toured the UK. Soon after, Mark joined ‘The Singing Ringing Tree’ signing a publishing deal with Warner Chapel and record deals with Sire, Elektra and ultimately Elton John’s Rocket Records.
