Kings of Leon Tribute Bands: Kings Ov Leon

The Kings Ov Leon are recognized as one of the UK's top Kings of Leon tribute bands. They've been rocking out the most prestigious theatres, festivals and music venues across the land since 2009. The sheer scale, energy and dynamism of their performances has left audiences spellbound, believing that they've actually been watching the real Kings of Leon.

The Kings Ov Leon take you on a rollercoaster ride playing all of you’re favourite KOL songs from the very first release "The Holy Roller Novocaine" through to the incredible number one album "Come Around Sundown", all with unprecedented accuracy. It’s this meticulous attention to detail, both in visuals and sound, that has earned them rave reviews from the media, music industry critics and audiences alike. Seeing really is believing in this particular case.

The uncanny resemblance doesn’t end there! Like the Followills there’s brotherly chemistry between lead guitarist Mark Eyden (Matthew Followill) and Dan Eyden (Jared Followill), the unmistakeable voice of Caleb bellowing eerily from Dean Lanza and the juxtaposed pounding rhythm and sweet harmonies of the bands ‘Nathan‘, Ant Wheeler.

All the guys have their own long history of professional success. In 1999 Dean and Mark were signed to record label giants Polydor after winning BBC1's ‘Get Your Act Together’ with the biggest ever national phone vote. They went on to tour extensively including a performance in front of 50,000 fans at ‘Party In The Park’ and had a charting single release. Ant drummed professionally for numerous bands including the Towers of London and Wilkento. Dan, the youngest member of the band, fronted ‘Perfect Confusion’ and is a prolific songwriter in his own right.

The Kings Ov Leon’s stubborn determination to push the boundaries of what you’d expect of a tribute band sees them return to venues time after time. They’ve played literally hundreds of gigs and been championed by Signal Radio, XFM, The Stage and even the Kings Of Leon! Notable venues include Tribfest – Europe’s biggest tribute festival, Marvellous Festival, a huge O2 Academy headline tour and the Ministry of Sound.

The Kings Ov Leon have a professional 6K P.A. sound system and a state-of-the-art lighting rig. Naturally all the guitars, drums, cymbals, amps and pedals are identical to their counterparts!. When it comes to tributes, this is as good as it gets.

Reviews:
“Kings Ov Leon sound identical, I‘ve seen them a couple of times. I’m telling you, it’s as close as you’ll get!!” – Louise (Signal Radio)

“We’re The Kings Ov Leon with a 'V', just in case” announced the lead vocalist of this quite superb tribute band. Opening strongly with Sex On Fire, the guys ripped through an awesomely delivered set and the effect was magical. Anyone catching this band cloning the real thing will soon realise that these guys are serious about what they do and, given the popularity of their chosen subject, The Kings Ov Leon must be tribute band market leaders on this showing" -  The Stage Newspaper (London)

"Awesome, totally professional outfit, we'll be re-booking them shortly!" – Julia Jeffrey Didcot Town FC

"It all went great, thanks at our May Ball, The Kings Ov Leon were a pleasure to work with!" – Ed Monk (Pembroke College)

"I wasn't around on the day of the Gloucester Park Festival but I've had nothing but great feedback from my colleagues and friends who were there. Our stage manager said the Kings Ov Leon were easy to work with and that the show was fantastic, and that was certainly reflected in what I heard back from friends who were at the event too. So a big thumbs-up basically! I'll be in touch for future events" – Andrew Mitchell Stead (Events & Marketing Manager)

"The show was very good, over 300 people (not bad for a Wednesday night!) The Kings Ov Leon got a great reception. We'll be in touch regarding a re-booking in the Summer" – Graham (The Birdwell Venue)

Kasabian Tribute Bands: Kazabian

Kazabian are the UK's No.1 Kasabian tribute band. You will actually believe that you have been to see the original band at a live concert. I don't say that lightly, this band are superb, phenomenal musicians and outstanding showmen. They bring the house down everywhere they go.

They have performed on the same stage as the Noisettes, Ollie Murs and The Holloways, playing to capacity crowds at all kinds of events and venues from theatres, universities, hotels, private parties, weddings and festivals. Kazabian were voted best tribute act at Tribfest and have played to 35,000 people at the Matthew Street Festival in Liverpool.

Q Magazine did an interview with Kasabian in which the band talk about their future plans and then appear to be slightly anxious about Kazabian’s progress as they seem to have more gigs lined up than they do. In The Observer, the celebrated music journalist (Paul Morley) posed the question "Would Kazabian mislead fans into believing the actual group were playing".

Reviews:
"I was gutted to find out the other day that the band I watched at my Uni May ball was not Kasabian but a tribute band called Kazabian, hell hey were so convincing, I thought it was the real thing for a long time!" – Bob Webb (Aberystwyth University)

"KAZABIAN have re-written the rule book when it comes to tribute bands. Oozing credibility and raw talent this band are the number one tribute act in the country" – Steven Hamilton (Alpine Promotions)

"Kazabian rocked the house…one of the best contemporary tribute acts I've booked and an absolute pleasure to work with too" – Karen Thompson (The Wave Centre, Cumbria)

"These guys are wicked!" – Aaron McCusker aka Jamie Maguire from Channel 4's "Shameless"

"Kazabian are the best tribute act on the circuit…FACT!" -  Andrew Rice, DJ at KU Bar (Stockton On Tees)

Chas 'n' Dave Tribute Acts: Cockney Rabble

Cockney Rabble are the ultimate Cockney tribute act. Chris served his musical apprenticeship playing the ukelele door to door around the streets of Tottenham and Wood Green. Justin is proficient in a selection of instruments including the drums, one, four and six string guitars, keyboards, vocals and spoons. Their extensive repertoire covers cockney songs from every decade, including all the Chas 'n' Dave favourites, music hall to modern rock and their own brand of witty banter and rhyming slang is thrown in for good measure. This is a truly authentic tribute show, everything is 100% live, there are no backing tracks, tapes or drum machines. When George Major (Pearly King of Peckham) launched his latest book at Spitalfields market, he invited all of his Pearly friends and Cockney Rabble were honoured to be asked to perform at such an historic event.

Cockney Rabble are available for all kinds of work including: private parties, birthdays, festivals, conferences and weddings. This is a highly entertaining Cockney double act, they're a lot of fun and "they've got more rabbit than Sainsbury's".

Reviews:
"Running your first ball, in a Marquee with 300 friends, family and guests is a daunting prospect. People pay a lot of money for the tickets and rightly have high expectations these days. Choosing the right entertainment for a group of people that range so much in their ages and tastes was another big challenge. All along we were going to book a big band, big presence looks expensive and it’s what people expect, isn’t it? However finding a band to cover the range of music that we wanted, that could work in the space we had and that would fit the overall feel for the night was really difficult. We decided in the end to book Stacey, the Adele tribute act and two local DJ's to support, who doesn’t like Adele? The pictures on the website looked great but to be honest we were really nervous. On the day of the event I met Stacey at the Marquee, a nicer person you could not wish to meet. I was still really nervous though and then it happened. Stacey (Adele) started to practice and my first reaction was Wow!, it is Adele, she sounded incredible. I immediately called my partner Hayley to say, don’t worry, this night will be great, Adele is Amazing. Stacey then told me that she was also feeling a little nervous which was nice because I knew then that performing well for us mattered. Neither of us had any need for nerves. I introduced Stacey as Adele, saying that Adele was at Silverstone and through a contact I had managed to book her for a set. Stacey started singing and immediately everybody jumped on the dance floor, the sound was incredible but to add to it Stacey really looked like she was Adele, she looked great. Every song was sung immaculately and still, even after the event, 50% of the people believe that it really was Adele, now that’s feedback. Everybody loved the performance and Stacey did come back later to do a second set as Stacey which kept everyone on the dance floor and again was fantastic, people thought we had booked Adele plus Stacey. So to Stacey, thank you so much for helping us make our night a special one and to anybody else that is thinking of booking Stacey, just do it, you will have a great time. Adele watch out!" – Darren & Hayley
