“Once again can I, on behalf of our group thank you for putting us in touch with Cliff Richard tribute [Jimmy Jemain] a very special tribute artiste. He is one of life’s true gentleman nothing was ever too much trouble for him at our show. His tribute to Cliff was amazing, in our audience we had several ladies who have seen most of Cliff’s UK shows and said Jimmy’s tribute was superb/brilliant and if they didn’t know better they would have thought it was actually Cliff performing, that says it all. Would we book him again in the future, for a third time? try stopping us, magnificent, please pass on our heartfelt thanks for a stunning performance and his humble approach” – Ken Wilshaw (Show Organiser/Compere)
“Fred Gardner came to sing for my mothers 80th birthday party last night (25th June) and I would just like to say he was everything, if not more than I had hoped for, my mum and the rest of my family had a fantastic time all thanks to Fred, what a professional and lovely man” – Caroline Wiseman
“Thank you for arranging Showaddywaddy Tribute Band (The HeartBeats) at our venue. This is the second time they’ve been here and they didn’t disappoint, all band members were a credit to themselves, nothing was too much trouble. From the moment they set foot on stage they had everyone clapping and dancing, which is a feat in itself as most of our audience are what can be described as in their twilight years. They played for far longer than the hour I had booked them for. I asked the audience would they like them back next year, the YES! response was overwhelming. As compere and show organiser my job was made easy thanks to the contributions of all band members, real gentlemen! Please pass on my regards to the band for a show well done!” – Ken Wilshaw
“Just a quick email to say thank you to ‘Elwood & Jake’ for a fantastic night on Saturday 18th June. They were fantastic and everyone had such a good time. We had loads of messages from our guests telling us how good the boys were and what a great night they had. Thank you again” – Fiona Haji-Michael
“It’s 1:30am, just got in from our Kenny Rogers tribute night featuring Peter White and what a night it was. I wished people wouldn’t shout so loud when they want an encore. Peter as Kenny Rogers was superb from the opening of his first song to his last, he excelled as the man himself. A true gentleman in both word and spirit, nothing was too much I can understand why he is so popular. We want him back next year and I think if I don’t book him my life won’t be worth living. If next years show is as good as this was we are in for a treat” – Ken Wilshaw (Stoke)
“Thanks for supplying last nights tribute artistes Harry Crawley [Dean Martin] & The Counterfeit Bee Gees. The Bee Gees have been here numerous times and if one can say it, they are stunning and must be the closest to the original Bee Gees that one can get, their harmonies are out of this world, the stage show with the lights are mind blowing. Joe, Dan and John should be rightly proud of their Bee Gees tribute band, they should be on the top of any bookers list and for what they do, are very modestly priced. On behalf of our patrons please pass on our thanks and appreciation for the fantastic show, come back soon, please!
Harry Crawley [Dean Martin Tribute] was recommended to us by Tribute Band Reviews and what a recommendation it was, he is a natural and just like the real Dean Martin. I grew up listening to Dean Martin as a youngster and Harry did him justice. From my information Harry has played on bigger stages than our humble club and from his performance one can see why! He is a gentleman in every way, unpretentious and very easy to deal with and like the Bee Gees tribute we had, he should be on every bookers list of tribute acts and get a repeat booking, he is that good!
Please pass on our regards to him from us all, fantastic” – Ken Wilshaw
The time has sadly come when I must leave the appointment of Regimental Corporal Major of the AFV Gunnery School here in Lulworth, Dorset. I felt I must write a letter of thanks to you and your team for all the great evening parties that I have had in my Warrant Officer’s and Sergeant’s Mess.
For the last five years I have used Tribute Band Reviews for all of my entertainment needs, comedians, casino’s, discos and in particular tribute acts. I have never been let down in any way. The quality has always been the best that is out there on offer. You have been solid and reliable every time and I thank you for your guidance and perseverance to find the right act for the right price.
Every act, of which there have been many have always been on time, friendly, polite and totally professional. To name only a few, Donald Smith Casino, Pleasure Dome Disco, Mission Blue (twice or more) comedian Gil Morris, Fred Gardner as Frank Sinatra, Tasha Leaper as Madonna, Michael Duble as Michael Buble, Irish Band J.J. Galway plus many more.
It goes without saying that I will continue to recommend you to others who want first class entertainment.
Tony and John, once again thank you for everything and if I ever end up in a line of work that requires me to book entertainment I won’t hesitate to be back on the phone to you.
Fond Regards – Kieran Fortune
Thanks for our 2 acts on the above date (Friday 30th Jan) namely ‘Lets Hang On’ a Frankie Valli tribute band and ‘Lesley Gibson’ comedy impressionist. What a night, a full house once again due mostly to the superb quality of the entertainment you both supplied to us.
Firstly, Lesley Gibson – a scouse comedian and superb impressionist, covering football, sports personalities, TV characters, politicians, etc and they were spot on.
He did a sketch in a chip shop, brilliant! he did an airline pilot sketch, absolutely hilarious, he had the audience in the palm of his hand, he only did part of his repertoire in the time allowed, he should be on all booker’s lists of comedians/impressionists, superb!
Our tribute act was Frankie Valli tribute ‘Let’s Hang On’ from the moment they went on stage the audience was hanging onto every word of the songs from “Sherry” to “Big Girls Don’t Cry”.
They did several acapella numbers underneath a large lamp-post erected on stage which showed off each members vocal range, it was stunning.
It was a fantastic performance from the four members Dino, Robin, Martin and Scott not forgetting the 2 sound men, Ian and John. They appeared at Buxton Opera House the night before us, it must have been a good show, I know ours was!!
Everyone associated with this group should be congratulated on their sheer professionalism and the attention to detail regarding their show. They asked the audience if they wanted them back in the future, the reply could have lifted the roof off it was so unanimous, my phone has not stopped ringing since saying what a good show it was.
Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to both acts for making us all happy in what are gloomy times.
Thanks are down to you once again at Tribute Band Reviews, thanks everyone! – Ken Wilshaw (Stoke)
“We booked Abba through your agency and we just have to send a resounding “WOW” for such a fabulous afternoon. We are a centre for adults with learning disabilities and many friends were invited along to boogie on down. What a fabulous tribute band Counterfeit Abba were, close your eyes and it could have been them! The vocals, instruments and effects made it such a wonderful experience for all. Everyone was up and dancing all afternoon and the ‘girls’ kindly posed for photographs afterwards. Many thanks for such a memorable time” – Anne Brown (Chadwell Centre Instructor)
We had arranged through yourselves Counterfeit Abba & Herbie James (comedian) for our show on the above date (Friday 28th Nov) brilliant, fabulous, what more can I say? another sell-out show.
Herbie is one of the funniest comedians we have had and clean, he came on dressed as Don Estelle (Lofty from ‘It Ain’t Half Hot Mum’) and started singing “Whispering Grass” – I thought…what have we booked here? but I needn’t have worried, he was out of this world and our patrons loved him.
As for Counterfeit Abba, I had booked them before and true to form they did not disappoint, what entertainers they were, everyone was rocking in the aisles to the music, a must for anyone seeking an ABBA tribute act. It ended too soon sadly even though they did enough encores to fill another show.
Please pass on our regards to both acts, they deserve it!
I can’t wait for the start of next years shows – Ken Wilshaw (Show Organiser – Stoke on Trent)
You recommended ‘The Counterfeit Bee Gees’ as an act for one of our tribute shows, what can I say, but absolutely fabulous. They are a credit to their profession and a credit to themselves. One could almost say the Bee Gees were actually there singing. The three artistes Joe, Tom and John looked the part and sang like the real Bee Gees. They had a fantastic light show and sound just like being in a theatre or large arena, they should be at the top of anyone’s list booking a tribute band. I was not a Bee Gees fan but thanks to this act I am now, my wife will have nothing derogatory said about the original Bee Gees but she did say during the show that she thought she was watching the real Bee Gees, now that’s a compliment to this tribute band. Nothing was too much trouble for the band they were ably assisted by, I think John’s partner on the light show and Joe’s son on sound, stunning!
Hopefully they will come back to us, the sooner the better, our audience loved them, I have never seen so many people in their twilight years up dancing, singing and clapping along with each song, thank you so much
What can I say about our other act from you ‘Martin Gold’ comedian, he, like the Bee Gees is the ultimate professional, he worked the audience in a casual and relaxed manner, what a showman. The gags were very slick and when he picked on members of the audience it was never in an offensive or derogatory manner, they loved him. It’s no wonder this man gets rave reviews wherever he plays, a true gentleman and a must for any show wanting the cleanest of comedians.
On a last note, the following day after the show I had to take my phone off the hook because of all the congratulatory phone calls regarding the show I was receiving, but that was not down to me, but to you and your company and the above fabulous artistes, please pass on my regards to all involved – Mr K.Wilshaw (Staffordshire)
I know it’s a bit late coming and I do apologise, please see the link below of the party we held for our clients ‘Party Gaming’ on the Thursday 21st August in the Botanical Gardens in Gibraltar. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your efficient coordination and to the band (Counterfeit Abba) who were absolutely amazing, a pleasure to have over, and who blew everybody’s socks off with their talent, personality and likeness to Abba. All the clients said how fantastic they were, in fact the next day they asked about booking them again and having them flown over for Christmas!
As international event organisers they come highly recommended and we look forward to having them with us at the next available opportunity.

Re: Stockport Town Hall Centenary Finale Event – Sunday 13tn July
I cannot let it go without writing to pass on my sincere thanks to you and all the hard working acts you provided me for your invaluable involvement part of the Stockport Town Hall Centenary Finale Event.
I was very impressed with all the acts I booked and their efficiency in contacting me in advance with their technical requirements. Equally I was not disappointed with the quality of their performances on the night and the level of enthusiasm they all had.
I booked Phil Fryer (Frank Sinatra), a lovely man who certainly did it his way! His vocal talents and even his looks attributed to Frank were absolutely splendid.
I also booked The Cheatles, the cheeky four, had the crowds singing and dancing in the streets, their clothes and the instruments were great replicas from the era and their covers would have done the best die hard fan in the crowd proud.
Counterfeit Abba performed all the hits you would expect with their own style and anticipated costume changes thrown in. The four piece were energetic and were a magnet to the audience who again, were singing along to all to the Abba hits.
I would not have any hesitation in recommending any of these acts and when the time arises again, I need any tribute acts for future events you certainly will be my first stop!
Samantha Tavernor – (Events Development Manager)
I would just like to thank you very much for yet another fantastic night. We thought that we would struggle to top the evening we had last year with the Bee Gees tribute band, but you did it again. The Bohemians were absolutely fantastic, highly professional and we would strongly recommend them to any of your clients.
Thank you once again, we put our full trust in your recommendation and again you came up trumps! Thank you, Thank you for a truly super tribute band.
I will be in touch soon to select our next act.
Thanks once again for supplying two fabulous artistes for our show on 29th February. We had comedian Josh Daniels who had an unusual line in comedy, ranging from straight jokes to comedy songs plus guitar playing, what a showman, laughs from start to finish – brilliant!
Finally “Cher” tribute Yvonne Haylen, the audience and myself, thought she was tremendous. A better end to the night I doubt we could find, she was not only a superb tribute but a lovely lady to boot, she gave the audience exactly what they wanted and more.
Please pass on our thanks to both these artistes, they are a credit to their profession and quite rightly so.
I just wanted to thank you for arranging Elevation (U2 Tribute) to perform at my 40th birthday party. The band were fantastic, please pass on my utmost thanks to the guys, I would really appreciate it. In fact, if you could tell them the general view of the people there was (in the words of U2) “Even better than the real thing” – Neil Cleasby
Re: Complete Madness
What more can I say!!! a big big thank you to everyone in the band who’s performance at my party Saturday night was amazing. The compliments since then have been extraordinary and I can only hope that it isn’t long before we all see them play again. Thanks again for a truly great night! – Jon Lancaster
It’s been a few weeks but wanted to let you know how fantastic Abba Revolution were on Saturday 29th.
The evening was a runaway success and the band were truly brilliant. Not only did they put on a great show but they were also really lovely people and nothing was too much trouble.
We managed to raise £3000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer so an all round success!
Guess what though?…I want to book them again for next year!! I’ve had so many requests for another one I thought I’d get in early and check dates. Are they available next year Sat 28th April? Let me know and I’ll check if the hall is available – Hayley Farrelly
Re: SAE Event at Forest of Arden Golf Club 19th Sept
Just to let you know that Counterfeit Abba made a real impact, they were excellent and all our customers had a wonderful time thanks to them. Would you pass on my thanks to them for helping me to have a stress free evening? – Barbara Lamb
Last night was fabulous – we made about £10,000.
Cher (Yvonne Haylen) went down a storm!
Will be in touch if anyone calls wanting to book her.
Sorry I’ve not mailed you sooner but I’ve been away on honeymoon.
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed Gary as Neil Diamond at our wedding a few weeks ago. He was absolutely spectacular. All the guests loved him, even the people who own the venue we hired came in to the marquee to see him.
I didn’t get a chance to thank him at the end of his set. He brought my Dad up to sing September Morn at one stage and it was so lovely. He had to whisper the lines to my Dad because he was too drunk to remember them. That memory will stay with me forever, it was a real high point of the day.
Please pass my thanks on to Gary. I certainly had a unique and original wedding, I know I’m sounding a bit cliched but, I had the best day of my life and Gary certainly helped in making it so.
Just a short note re: Mike Andrew (Robbie Williams) who performed at my party on Friday night, he is a lovely chap, very accommodating and was absolutely fabulous, everyone said he was great and had a great night. Will definitely recommend him again.
Thanks very much for all your help and assistance in the booking.
Dear Tony and John
Just to say what a great job Abba Revolution did for us at the Hilton Deansgate on Friday Night.
The whole evening was a great success and Sheila and the rest of the guys were absolutely wonderful…The dance floor was full from the moment they started and all the feedback was very positive – we would definitely use them again…and yourselves.
Thank you too for your advice and assistance
Hi John, just a short note to say thank you for all your help with regard to QEII. The lads arrived in Tripoli, musically, we had everything organized and even had time to organize a trip for the guys to see the Roman ruins at Sabratha.
The Queens Birthday Party was a great success with over 300 people present – a record for an event like this. We do not have a huge British Community in Tripoli. We had a warm up band on first, then the raffle, a presentation to the British Ambassador and his wife followed by QEII.
The place was rocking and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The lads were very personable and friendly and we enjoyed their company. British Airways have told me if I want to do this again – just ask and sponsorship will be there.
Sincere Best Wishes
We had the Cheatles perform at our wedding on the 25th of August. We would just like you to pass on our thanks to the band. They gave an excellent performance. Lots of people commented afterwards about how good they thought the band were and how much they looked and sounded like the real thing.
Thanks for supplying us with them.
Vanessa and Ian
